אפיתרפיה – דיקור בארס דבורים
אפיתרפיה הינה תחום טיפולי עתיק יומין העושה שימוש בתוצרי דבורת הדבש, לרבות ארס הדבורה.
מקור השם לקוח מן השפה היוונית: אפיס – דבורה, תרפיה – ריפוי.
ארס הדבורה ניחן בתכונות רפואיות רבות והינו אנטי דלקתי, אנטי פטרייתי, אנטיביוטי, אנטי ויראלי וגם אנטי סרטני.
טיפול בארס הדבורה (קרוי גם BVT – Bee Venom Therapy) מיועד למגוון רחב של בעיות, כאשר המרכזיות שבהן: דלקות כרוניות, מחלות אוטואימוניות, בעיות עצביות וגם סרטן.
ארס הדבורה – יעיל כטיפול בסרטן
טיפול על ידי ארס דבורת הדבש הוא סוג של אימונותרפיה טבעית, אשר למעשה תוקף את תאי הסרטן בחמישה ערוצי פעולה, וכל זאת ללא פגיעה בתאים הבריאים:
1. אימונוטוקסין – מליטין, זהו הרכיב המרכזי בארס הדבורה אשר מתחבר לנוגדן. אימונוטוקסין פועל באופן שבו הוא נצמד לדופן התא הסרטני, חודר לתוכו ולבסוף משמיד אותו באופן ישיר.
2. אפופטוזיס – ארס הדבורה מעודד השמדה עצמית של תאים סרטניים. כלומר, הוא למעשה מפעיל בתאי הסרטן מנגנון השמדה עצמית ובכך גורם להם "להתאבד" הלכה למעשה.
3. אנטי-אנג'יוג'נסיס – גידול סרטני נוטה להתחבר ישירות לכלי דם כדי להזין את עצמו. המליטין, אשר מצוי בארס הדבורה, נצמד לאנזים המעודד את יצירת כלי הדם ובכך מנטרל אותו. כך ארס הדבורה גורם להצטמצמות כלי הדם המזינים את הגידול הסרטני ובכך גורם להתכווצותו (מעין "הרעבה" שלו).
4. אופן הפעולה של תאי סרטן כרוך בתקשורת ביניהם באמצעים כימיים והורמונליים שדרכם הם "מכשירים את הקרקע" להתפתחות ולשליחת גרורות. ארס הדבורה יוצר מעין "הפרעה", שיבוש של התקשורת הבין-תאית ולמעשה מונע מתאי הסרטן לשלוח גרורות "ולהערים" על מערכת החיסון.
5. ארס הדבורה מעודד ייצור של כדוריות דם לבנות הנקראות אאוזינופילים אשר בין היתר מייצרים היסטמין. וידוע הוא שאאוזינופילים נוטלים חלק פעיל בחיסול תאים סרטניים.
